Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: December 6, 2025

Welcome to Bello Speech Pathology (ABN [Insert ABN]). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website (www.bellohealthservices.com.au), mobile services, and all related speech pathology and occupational therapy services (“Services”). By accessing our website, booking an appointment, or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and Australian Consumer Law (ACL) guarantees. These Terms comply with the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) and protect your statutory rights.

1. Services Provided

Bello Speech Pathology provides mobile speech pathology and occupational therapy services to children under 10 across the Gold Coast, including assessments, therapy sessions, and parent coaching. Services are delivered with due care and skill by qualified, registered practitioners (AHPRA-certified) in your home, school, or daycare. We adhere to evidence-based practices and NDIS Pricing Arrangements where applicable. Services must be reasonably fit for the purpose discussed during consultation and provided within a reasonable time.

2. Eligibility and Booking

You must be a parent, guardian, or authorized representative of a child under 10. Bookings are confirmed via email or phone. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel Services if health/safety risks exist or payment terms are not met. Initial consultations may incur a non-refundable deposit.sprintlaw

3. Fees and Payment

Fees align with NDIS price limits (2025-26) or private rates provided upfront.

Payment is due at session end via card, bank transfer, or invoice (private health/NDIS).

No GST on direct therapy; GST applies to reports/documentation.

Fees may adjust annually with NDIS updates; notice provided 30 days prior.

4. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

24 hours’ notice required for cancellations/rescheduling.

Less than 24 hours: 100% session fee charged (covers preparation/travel).

Less than 2 business days for blocks/programs: Full fee applies.

Exceptions: Medical certificate for child illness waives fee (submit within 48 hours).
This policy reflects genuine costs under ACL and is fair/not excessive.

5. Consumer Guarantees and Refunds

Under Australian Consumer Law, Services come with guarantees of due care/skill, fitness for purpose, and reasonable time. If Services fail these:

Minor failure: Free re-service.

Major failure: Full refund/replacement or cancellation.
No refunds for completed Services or no-shows. Refunds processed within 14 days via original payment method. These rights cannot be excluded.

6. Liability Limitations

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to resupplying Services or refunding fees paid. We exclude liability for indirect/consequential loss (e.g., lost time). You agree we are not liable for outcomes beyond our control (e.g., child non-engagement). Professional indemnity insurance covers qualified practitioners.alliedhealthsp+1
